Wide angle eyepieces

Hi all, I'm looking to get a wide angle eyepiece. I don't really have any idea what to go for at the moment. Any suggestions? Ideally I'm looking for one that cheap but still up to the job.

It all depends what scope you are going to use it in. Low cost wide angle eyepieces can work well in scopes with a focal ratio of F/7 or more but not so well faster focal ratios (eg: F/5). If you can let us know which scope then I'm sure you will soon get some recommendations

yeah i forgot to mention what scope i had... its a 4 inch refractor @ f/9.8

Assuming that it will take 2" eyepieces, something like this would work well:

Skywatcher - Skywatcher PanaView 2" eyepieces

The 38mm would give you 26x magnfication and a true field of view (ie: how much of the sky you can see) of a bit more than 2.5 degrees.
