As usual for The Cure it works on more than one level, beautiful track IMHO.

Oh - and Lux Aeterna by Gyorgy Ligeti, used in '2001 a space odyssey'.

Lux Aeterna was used during the flight from moonbase at clavius to the site of the monolith - it's seems to capture the 'stillness over aeons' feeling of being on the moon,
