Just watching it on HD at the moment.

(Luvvy alert...)

I was in the same year as Kevin Fong as an undergraduate, he was a nice lad....albeit a bit of a swot and used to take the pee when I snuck into cosmology lectures half way through! :rolleyes: I am chuffed to bits for him getting to present his own TV show. I also had the pleasure of using the big white scope, the Radcliffe refractor, as part of my BSc. I remember observing Jupiter and seeing the GRS without averted vision (wobbly as heck though!). Also imaged the moon on plate with it. The floor moves up and down and you had to lie on an antique leather sun-lounger type thing to look through the eyepiece.
