Not sure whether to put this here or in Widefield..

But is deep enough sky for me!!!

Just a trial with camera and lens..

Only a total of 290 seconds with a 85mm f1.8 lens on canon 20da... manually tracked.. think I just bumped the focus half way through as well!!!

and dew falling like snow..

Just a levels tweak and no other processing as no darks or flats hence the hot pixel trails in places (could paint them out I suppose).

Looks Ok for this setup so hoping for a lot more.

i hope to do this 'properly' soon and hopefully without the barn door tracking approach as even with a fast lens it is tricky to keep stars from going oval.

Looking at some type of tracking mount.
