Hi Everyone,

I finally got my PST last Tuesday, had to wait till Friday before i got use of it. I put the pst on a fixed camera tripod and connected my DSI to it the attached image is what i got. I need a lot more practice but any comments good or bad are welcome.

Congrats on your first solar image!! You even grabbed a prominence at the bottom of the disc. The best way to image the Sun is to grab hundreds (or even thousands) of images over a short period and stack them together using eg Registax. Best camera for this is something like the Phillips SPC900NC webcam (£150) or even better a high speed camera like the DMK21 (£300). Adapters are availible to fit these cameras to your PST. Well done again on that prom!
