First guided DSO's. M31 and Double Cluster from Kielder

These two are my first guidedefforts from Kielder over the weekend. Thanks to Blinky, Starflyer, Gary1968, and Dogfish for all help and equipment.

Side by side WO66 guided with QHY5/PHD, Megrez 90 with unmodded 400D. HEQ5

Sorry to say i have not figured out DSS yet, so both are 5 min subs processed in PS Elements. Got the bug back!

Those are luverly David. M31 is a cracker for 1 sub. How many subs did you get for M31? Cant wait to see the stacked version mate......

Thanks for the comments Guys. Gary, i took 10 subs of 5 mins altogether, hopefully Martin can show me round DSS and will post again. Off to join CSOG!

Great images David, the dust lanes and detail in M31 are stunning for a single sub. It was good to see you again and to see you having success with your first guiding attempt... can't wait to see the stacked versions

As everyone has said, a cracking image of M31 for a single sub. Hopefully, I'll be able to remember my way round DSS to help you stack the rest (imaging, pah, complicated telescope 'stuff' ).
