You'll need a power supply that can take mains voltage and drop it to 12v or 6v depending on your mount.

It is a 12v supply needed. Maybe something like this?

Only thing is the power lead that comes with the battery pack goes into the mount and is screwed in so I was worried a normal ac adaptor like this wouldnt work as it would fall out? :D

idk if your going to be able to find one with the tip you are looking for. Probably better off re-wiring it if you are up to it. also if you do find one with the right tip make sure the polarity is correct. you may want to check with the scopes manufacturer as well. I know celestron makes an ac power supply for some of their scopes
