Solar Activity - Oct 17th

The Sun was quite active today sporting the small Active Region and 2 large prominences. PST-B90 f/15 DMK21 camera. Also trying a new way of framing them ie trying to give an overall impression of the days activity. Any comments welcome.

Sun is now 1 hour for me on a good day..(south view when it's below he house is not great)..

thats dissapointing was wondering why you were so quiet. Its starting to get difficul now with altitude anyway. Im lucky to have the sun all year (especially now Im going to trim those big Ashes to my south!!)

Other reasons why I have been quiet Dave...

Deep Sky is back on the agenda...have an observatory now...plus, snowed under with work (day job) and review stuff (other job)
