How many darks?

Hi so far I have been keeping things simple by using the noise reduction setting on my canon 350. Is it better to take darks and if so how many should I take?

Yeah take darks, as many as you can really. I usually try for between 10 and 20 unless I am doing 5 or 10 min subs then I only grab 3 or 4. Any is better than none but as I say a good figure is between 10 and 20.
