Sometimes the sun does shine. :-)

As most of you know, my wife Dawn has had a rough year due to breast cancer. The treatment is now complete and all looks very good for the future. we had a great week in Norfolk recently and got in 4 consecutive nights of viewing.

Yesterday it transpired that the whole family has pitched together to buy dawn a pressie to mark the end of her treatment. As we are now both really enjoying the astronomy we have decided jointly to spend it on a scope we have always drooled over, the WO 132 FLT :-) This will be as a replacment for our AR6 which has cemented our love of refractors. Pics to follow soon.

Sometimes the sun does indeed shine.

Clear skies to all.

Best regards

John and Dawn.

I'm glad Dawn's treatment is over and the future is now looking alot better.

This is the scope I have also drooled over and one that would be on my wish for list. I cannot wait for any further reports.

Me too Mick.

She is doing really well and her hair is comming back amazingly quickly. I hope to see you over the next week or so for a catch up.

Will give you a bell soon.

Love the reports you do. I try to write them but they sort of end up as a list rather than a narrative if you see what i mean. Been to embarrased to post them:cool:
