What scope n stuff shall I get next?

My little dob is good and everything but....

1. I'm looking for something more portable. A "grab and go" type setup.

2. Something that may be a step in to photography if I decide to go that way

Now, I was thinking about a skywatcher 80ed equinox. I've got a sturdy alt-az photography tripod. From what I understand I can mount one of these on that, and if I get something like a HEQ5 in the future I can then stick in on that insteead and I've taken some baby steps towards a astrophotography set up (I already have the SLR, a screwdriver, and the will to have a go taking the filter out:)).

So, sensible move, or not?
