Late Report 9/8/05

While still down in Cornwall I manage a cracking view of Jupiter just left of the moon with Venus down to the right. 100% clear an caught this view @ 9.22pm while leaving the Jamaica Inn on Bodmoor with the family.

Took a quick sketch and noted the time / date for Starry night Pro confirmation.. unfortunately I did not have the camera

Yep... the jamaica Inn is mega famous for being one of the oldest smuglers pubs of cornwall. The sketch was poor!!... I can offer the following though.

Looks like you had a great view, you don't get the "clear right down to the horizon" evenings very often but they are even better when you are rewarded with that as well...
