Rosette Nebula From Kelling Heath

Hi all,

I've just this minute got back from a 3 day stay at Kelling Heath.

The weather wasn't great but I did manages to grab an image of the Rosette, I can't get this from where I live so I couldn't miss the oppotunity to have a go at it.

Usual set up

WO66SD + WO 0.8 x Reducer

Atik 314L

Guiding - WO Megrez 90 - QHY5 - Guidemaster

18 x 600s Ha

Hells Bells, that is good Roy.

The little 66 never ceases to amaze, although it's only one bit of a quality train you have there.

Colour? Although Mono satisfies me on this object.

If that was all I came away from Kelling with I would be more than happy. A beautifully smooth image with great contrast and detail. Superb image Roy

Nice to meet you at Kelling, it was a shame you left when you did, Sat night was perfect all night long. We'll be staying next year after the main event too if you fancy going back, on a similar pitch.
