Rossco72
I have an EQ6Pro and I carry it in the back of my car to get to a dark skies site as I don't have a garden! It can be put together and polar aligned in about 15 minutes and another 10 minutes or so to do a 3 star alignment...Once done it is broken down and loaded back into the car in 10 minutes or so.As has been suggested, if you can have either, get the EQ6ProCheersStuart
RobB
I'm also looking for probably an EQ6 Pro mount to replace my Vixen GP. Any idea who may have these in stock right now?

DaveS
What would you say is the biggest / heaviest 'frac you could mount on an HEQ5?I'm still thinking of a Megrez 90 but later? FLT 110 ? 132??.Or a Newt, 8"? 12"??Just trying to map out future plans.Dave
Rossco72
Dave,Depends on what you plan to do, observe, image, carry guide scopes on top or parallel???I use a 132FLT with a ZS80 guiding on the EQ6Pro and for me it's a bit too close to the limit. I wouldn't like to think what'd be like on an HEQ5.For observing though, you might just about get away with it.
