Does anybody know what the thread is in the above CCD? and what do I need to attach it to a Nexstar 8SE ?

Hi Martin,

It's a T-mount (48mm) thread on the front. The nosepiece can be taken off but I haven't done this yet as it holds the IR filter in place and will help keep out unwanted moisture

What kind of focuser is on the 8SE? Both my scopes have 2" focusers, and I can either bolt the QHY8 straight in or put on different coma correctors on the front first and put those in just like you would do with a large eyepiece
