Clavius and Euclides with Montes Riphaeus.

Taken a week ago with average seeing but after an hour the seeing improved to 7-8/10 giving pretty decent images. Part of learning process to see how seeing does change in a short space of time so it is worth sticking at moon/planets for improvements.

Probably my best Clavius and an interesting area near Gassendi around crater Euclides with low mountain chain East of Mare Cognitum.

Images taken 0300hrs BST through Red Astrodon filter. 900/3600 frames stacked with AviStack and processed with ImageAnalyser and ImagesPlus.

EQ6 with SPX350 working at F16.8 with 2xCelestron Ultima and DMK with ATK-EFW and Astrodon filters.

An excellent pair of images John, particularly Clavius. You've hit the nail on the head here. A lot of Lunar and planetary imaging just involves sitting it out waiting for decent seeing.
