Small package came in the post, opend it with anticipation. Nice lot of padding and a plastic container within, could this be my 6.3 reducer? Opend the plastic container and more padding inside and there it was capped both ends - nice, popped off the caps and................................ a ruddy great finger print on the glass....GRRRRRRRRRR:icon_eek: There is no need for that is there?

i know what you mean Martin, it`s a pig i find to get marks of the glass properly, i`m also in the market for a focal reducer to aid with the imaging, what make and where did you buy from ?

Baader optical wonder is the stuff to go for. Works very well.

Was it new? That's not very good. Used, well sadly it's somewhat par for the course - there seem to be a wide range of views in our community as to what "good condition" means...
