Help, rotation in Registax

Recommended Posts

Im trying to process 20 images taken of M13 with a digital camera. The exposure of each image ranges fron 20 to 40 seconds. Due to the time the camera takes to process each shot plus the exposure time a fair amount of rotation has accured between the 1st image and the last.( Im not using a wedge )

I presumed that when registax aligns the images it must by definition get rid of the rotation effect, instead I get an image that looks like a wheel. Can anyone help me with this please

If you don't own image Plus then i would suggest you take all the frames into photoshop or another photo editting suite and rotate them yourself martin as Regstax cant do iam affraid mate.

Have just bought ImagesPlus and think it's going to be a great investment. Costs around £100 but that is very cheap compared to maxim. Handles rotation without any problem and the huge plus for web cam images is that will also process AVIs which Maxim doesn't. Comes with wonderful comprehensive videos showing you the whole works. Slightly more expensive than Registar but does a lot more. Definitely well worth the money.
