Jupiter hunting even with a rotten cold

Had to go out and play even though I'm coughing and wheezing still.

Got my best Jupiter to date and a few frames of M57 Ring Nebula which I have yet to

put through Registax.

Yes , the seeing was weird last night.

On screen, the detail on Jupiter was going from good to duff from one second to another.

I scrapped over 1000 frames to get my 300 for the image. :?

I feel your pain Phil, i have "man-flu" at the moment and even though it was clear as a bell last night it was all i could do to crawl into bed. A bottle of covonia and a pack of beechams all in one and im feeling a little better. If it's clear i'll venture out tonight i think. 22 degrees outside and i have a cold. Go figure.

Another fantastic Jupiter Phillip. Jupiter was a mess when I looked at it last night. It's directly above a neighbours house so maybe I need to move my scope!
