Mount a WOZS66 on Skywatcher AZ3 Mount

Hi,

I would like to put my WOZS66 on my skywatcher AZ3 mount to make a grab and go scope. Is there an easy way to put put the scope onto mount using the 'L' adapter,

I put a WO Megrez 90 onto an AZ-3 mount a couple of years ago. I had to make a adapter plate to get it to fit - it was very simple - a hole at each end to take the bolts that hold the adaptor onto the mount and 2 holes in the centre with bolts though to 2 corresponding holes in bottom of the scopes "L" adapter.

It worked fine.

You want one of these as your ZS66 has a tripod adaptor thread on the bottom of the mounting foot.

Yep, one just arrived this morning from FLO for me to do EXACTLY the same (well mounting a PST as well).

slightly off topic but if anyone's looking to do the opposite and mount a small scope on a photo tripod the smallest of the skywatcher dovetail bars will fasten onto a tripod head
