Les Tilly
I spent a week on Vacation in the outerbanks in North Carolina I only had a few hours to image as the Bugs had been eating me alive so this is the Milkyway around Cygnus area shot with the Canon40D with F1.8 50mm lens set at F4 and on top of a Kenko Sky mount it was 52 x 30 sec ISO 3200 enjoy Les

minimalist
Absolutely amazing Les, so many stars in there, makes my mosaic look like a pale ghost compared to this. That must have been a really, really dark site to get all this depth. Btw, how do you focus with that lens in the dark? The viewfinder is pretty useless, I usually try short subs but even then it's hard to get precise adjustments out of that "plastic fantastic" lens.Daniel
