computer controlled cg-5 mount

evening all,

does anyone know of free software that will enable me to control my Celestron CG-5 GT GOTO mount via computer ?

i have stellarium and have heard it can be used but don`t know if it is any good or what it is capable of, never done anything like this before so step by step instructions would be great.

P.S. my aim is to use it for webcam imaging i hope.

hi rob.. I'm pretty new to computer control myself.. but i use the ASCOM platform with the Celestron drivers, a freebie you can try is stellarium scope StellariumScope

Sorry not so technical and no step by step .. but its still a curve im learning on myself
