South West Astronomy Fair - Saturday 8th August 2009 9.00am - 6.00pm

Norman Lockyer Observatory, Sidmouth, Devon. EX10 ONY

Doors open at 9.00am. Lectures, telescope tours, planetarium shows.

Trade stands: Starlite Xpress, The Widescreen Centre, Star Gazers Lounge, First Light Optics, SCS Astro, Space Rocks, Astrotrac, CCD Land, Society for Popular Astronomy, CfDS, Institute of Physics, Astronomy Now, Sidmouth Museum.

Guest speakers: David Bryant (Meteorites & Extinctions), Will Gater (The Cosmic Keyhole), Heather Couper & Nigel Henbest (Cosmic Quest - A History of Astronomy), Greg Parker (Deep Sky Imaging from the New Forest Observatory). + Special guest appearance of "Galileo".

Entry: £5 per adult and £2.50 for children under 18.

Lectures: £4/person.
