Owl Nebula from central Guildford

Another one that shows how PixInsight LE can clean up light polluted images. Again, from a staff car park at the Royal Surrey County Hospital with grab & go setup. A bit grainy, but only 5x5 mins from a Sony A300 DSLR with some particularly bad dust donuts on the sensor.

Unfortunately, unlike the other shots, this one I didn't record the capture or the processing on video. I really wish I had now, because it made good use of masks and other features of PixInsight. Maybe I'll re-process it again and record it to video next time.

Can you show the full field shot, I think the nebula looks best in its widefield setting

Aza, thanks for your note. I'll do a video recording of re-processing this object from the raw stack, and keep it wide-field this time.
