Stellarium for Blackberry ? Any ideas?

I'm about to move to a Blackberry and wondered if anyone had any experience with any software the mimics stellarium or Cartes du Ciel - i.e instead of dragging my Laptop everywhere...

Got a BB... but its so locked down with GP that we cant do jack with it.. so no experience with any apps for it...

Will be interested to see if there is anything worth hacking it for tho

Don't know much about Blackberries but as Stellarium is open source you could always download it and try to recompile it for the blackberry. There's no guarantee that it would work very well but if you are happy to try that then it might be an option.

I was just looking at blackberry's site and you can download device simulators which is quite good and quite useful if you want to try developing for it.

Starmap Pro on the iPhone is a superb app. I know there are a number on the forum who use it.

More advanced than stellarium but just as pretty and easy to use. Of course there's the limitation of a small screen, but when I'm observing, it's all I use now. So convenient.

I'm using Starry Night on my Javalin (new curve). Just Google and you shall find.
