Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition

Recommended Posts

For those in London next week the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition has a couple of astronomy stands, one on the Herschel/Plank missions and our (Durham University) very own Cosmic Origins exhibit. Here you can see our latest 3D movie of how the galaxy was formed, including a fly back in time through the Hubble Ultra-Deep Field, and a simulation of M31 and the Milky Way colliding. And don't miss the real and computer-simulated lava lamp!!

Opening times are 10-5 Tuesday (June 30) to Saturday (July 4), with late night opening until 9pm on the Tuesday.
