M13 cut short

I decided to give M13 a go last night but in the end only got three subs before some cloud stopped play. I had to laugh though coz by the time I'd packed things up it was clear again Still I'm surprised the result is as clear as it is with the propeller quite prominent.

So this is just 3 X 3min subs, prime focus DSLR @ ISO800 using my C8-N

Nice one Roy the propeller seems to show more on shorter exposures.

I agree nice image.

The prop pops out then sneaks back in again as the total exposure get longer ..

Yes, nice image. Remarkably smooth for the limited time. You've done a nice job processing that, and the potential is there for a spectacular image if you can get more data.

I hate to admit it, evryone talks about the propellor, and I've seen M13 squillions of times, but I have no idea where this ghostly propellor is
