I'd let that one go if I were you - its probably one of the Meade MA eyepieces which are quite poor.

If you want a cheap, high power eyepiece, try a "wanted" ad in AstroBuySell for a 5mm or 6mm Orthoscopic for £20-£25. They are the best eyepieces you can get anywhere near that price.

I have that eyepiece. It came with the ETX70 I have. It is a poor eyepiece Steve & Gaz are 100% correct.

Good S/H ortho are the best for planetary stuff.

If you are looking for good quality, but reasonably priced plossl eyepieces for high power work the Meade 3000 series are worth considering - they are made in Japan, multicoated and they are reported to be of good optical quality. There is a 5mm and a 6.7mm in this series for sale on the UK Astro Buy & Sell web site for £25 quid a piece at the moment (different sellers I think).
