Hyperstar first light - Dumbbell Nebula

Hi All,

After a battle of 6 weeks, I finally got my hyperstar system working fine end-to-end combined with good nights on Thursday and Friday. Bagged M27 subs on both nights. I am physically sick with sleep debt today

I did not have a guide bar for C8, so used the one from my C9.25. Was too long, so guided with only one end fixed! Seemed to guide fine

Scope: Celestron 8 fitted with Hyperstar 3

Camera: Starlight Express M8C

Guiding: ST80, Imaging Source DFK, PHD

Mount: EQ6 Pro

Exposure: 34 X 5 minute subs

Processing: Colour converted in maxim DL, Stacked in DSS, Levels, Curves in PS, Noel's actions for light pollution removal.

Tried some unsharp mask to remove the fuzziness. But had to roll it back since the result dint look like M27. I guess the fuzziness is inherent to the nebula. Processing tips welcome

I bagged some NGC4565 subs as well. Still processing.
