2nd Ever Deep Space Image - Ring Nebula M57

Well what can i say you were right I am addicted to deep space photography now this was taken 29-05-09 from Greater Manchester Uk from moderate light polluted skies. This image was taken using a Canon 1000D and a C80ED scope, at ISO 1600, 31 frames ranging from 5 seconds to 20 seconds (am limited to this for the time being until i can get a EQ mount) and stacked in DSS.

Thanks guys, Psychobilly how would you sort the background in GIMP? i did try but couldn't seem to get it right.

not sure how you do it in Gimp but in photoshop you can use the eyedropper tool as color sample tool and click in the Background then bring the levels down to your likeing I like 28ish on each color
