insomnia
Hi.This might be a really good question or a really bad 1.Is it possible to use a car sat nav to aid with finding yourself around the night sky, I have a tomtom go and it displays long and lat directions. Can this be transfered from land into sky in any way?
proflight2000
I would say it is a great gizmo for finding your way around a road, but not something very easy to use for the night sky. It will of course give you your angle to Polaris, being that it will give you latitude, but IMHO id say no. But......I do hope someone has a better answer and it were possible.
