Nice crisp clear nights, albeit with bright Moon, but "not to worry" I thought, I'll just image away from the Moon and capture M81 & M82 with the ASI2600MC Pro & Founder 106 with 0.8 Reducer.

I thought I was shooting in broadband with no filter. I took 120 x 120s last night and another 60x 120s tonight, before swapping to IC443, once that appeared from behind the trees. It was only when I when to put my Askar Duo-Band filter into the filter draw, that I found the L-eNhance filter sat in there, and it had been there for a couple of weeks as I must have shot M78 with it in as well and never noticed during the processing!

I did wonder why the Ha was looking so good when I processed last nights stack.

Oh well, lesson learned - physically check which filter is in there, don't rely on your memory!

Here's 3h38m on M81 with an annotated version. I'll see what another few hours can bring out, even if it's not in broadband! :D

Nice going, senior! 😉

I like the rendering of this well known view. 👍

Thanks Wim, the framing was just right to have M81 dead-centre and NGC2976 & NGC3077 on the periphery.

At least I can add more broadband data to it at a later date, knowing the Ha is already in there. ;)
