Cartes du Ciel rename stars

Hello to everyone,

 

I am trying to rename the stars in the program Cartes du Ciel. I am targeting the file "StarsNames.txt" from the location "Ciel\data\common_names". The other language files contain:

"; Stars Name for Cartes du Ciel
; For a translation copy this file to starsname_XX.dat where XX is the specific language code
; the first column is the HR number"

 

However I can't change the names, even from the program settings, on a new installation. Changing the language it changes only the constellations name, but not the stars name. Can someone shed some light onto this, please?

Sorry for troubling. After much searching on internet (and testing), it appears that the translation is only for searching within the program. The original stars names remain the same, translated or not. The topic can be closed.
