Hi,

I’m Hazel and currently live in the highlands and am so very lucky to do so. I’ve always been a Physics nerd (currently working on my masters in Physics with Astro). 
 
I’ve joined as I have been a little addicted to stargazing since picking up a pair of reasonable binoculars a couple of year ago and have recently been bitten by the astrophotography bug so have sourced myself a very simple setup of just a Canon EOS 750d a Sky-Watcher EQ5 mount, a second hand samyang 135mm lense and the determination to see what I can make of that to begin with lol

How lucky you are to be in a much less polluted location. do you also get a good proportion of cloudless skies? 

Do let us know how you get on imaging with the Samyang 135mm as I'm wondering about sticking one on my Nikon Z6 and mounting both on my SkyWatcher Star Adventurer (the older version, not the GTi).
