Astroshader new user - shutter sound question

I tried out AS yesterday morning for the first time and it seemed like the shutter sound effect on my iPhone went off many more times than the number of exposures.

Does the shutter sound just once per exposure?  Maybe I was still half asleep and addled.  It probably doesn't matter since I normally have my ringer, etc. turned off while observing, but I'm curious.

I’ve used AstroShader quite a bit now, but I’m not sure why it does that. I have the ringer and sounds turned off anyway… there’s nothing nitre annoying than my phone “pinging” while I’m out in the dark!

I think it goes off as per number of exposures but not 100% sure
