Ceravolo HD145 Review

I have just found this link to a website which has more information on both the ceravolo’s

The video is great and a tribute to not just the optical but the engineering quality of these scobes

corrector comes off corrector goes back on and that’s it

I also had no idea so few of these were ever made 30? HD145s.

Does anyone know when they were made. I assume from DrDs video 1994 ish?

Yea, your link is a good review, I saw that a while back, thanks for the feedback. I think mine is about 1990. I'll give the serial number to Ceravolo and ask him. Interesting they cost just half that of an ED refractor with this performance if they're lucky.

Very interesting video about a fascinating scope. I have a catalogue (well, 4 page flyer) about the scope which I think I acquired in the 1990's. Probably as close as I will ever get to seeing one 🙂

Thanks, there's just too many imaging channels, not to mention that there are many specific aberrations you can see visually when using higher magnifications on double stars and planets that will not reveal themselves in astrophotography.

@Doctor D Daniel, did you say you'd done a comparison with this Cerevolo and a TEC140 ?

You mentioned a link, but i can't seen to find it  ?

With me being a owner of one, i'd be very interested in seeing it.

Thanks for posting the above review.
