SGL 2022 Challenge 5 - Noctilucent Cloud

As evening comes you have to stay alert if you want to capture these elusive but beautiful clouds.  The are shown at their best when show within and attractive landscape and our winners were certainly up to the task.  Plenty of other great entries which could easily have been in the frame.

Just jaw dropping!  If anyone isn't convinced that these are NLCs just have a look at Paul's animation in the Challenge thread

A huge spread of NLCs with a beautiful Swaledale twilight

3) Michael Wilkinson

 

Michael has captured a quite intense display of NLC with the reflection in the water adding a touch of magic!

 

Well done to everyone who entered. The board is well worth viewing, there are plenty more superb images on display
