I've fixed my camera and I now have a camera on the Android synscan pro 252, I needed to grant the app permission to access the camera, I did that in settings/apps/synscan pro permissions

The other night I tried the auto alignment feature with four alignment points and it caused the mount to slew through 180 degrees, so I aborted. The best option seems to be to select three point alignment and then the points are within 60 degrees to the right in azimuth and 30 degrees above in altitude from the starting point. So start from the bottom left of the area you plan to observe.

That's interesting and that will help in my limited sky. I'm just waiting for it to get dark a bit earlier as don't do late stuff.
