The Aurora and Perseid meteor shower Monday 12th August 2024 taken from 22.30 to 00.30.

Here in Delabole, North Cornwall. 

Canon 600D and Samyang 14mm f2.8 lens 

20 secs 1600iso. Static tripod. 

Composed  in photoshop. My first one ever.

Thank you Paul. It was over 300 shots and just 7 meteors I had a go at putting into the one image. But this was only a short period and mostly before 00.30 as I had to be up at 4am with overtime all week and shattered. I would of loved to stay out and capture more for a better image but I'm pleased enough for my first proper attempt at imaging a meteor shower.

I caught most of mine in the early hours of Monday.
