Perseids, Aurora and lightning...UPDATED

...Aug 11th attempted to get meteors radiating from the radiant above Surrender Bridge Smelt Mill, only two before clouds intervened.

The following night was forced up towards Tan Hill to get a good horizon, but no foreground.  A nice time lapse of the sub storm at ~23.30, then three Perseids with the Plough at around 01.00.

Canon R8, Sigma 24mm, 6s, iso2500, f2.2 for sky.  Long exposure foreground for the mill.  LR, PS and Pictures2Exe.

Hi Paul,

That last shot is my favourite with gorgeous sky colour and light cloud detail. You may only have two Perseids but they are beautifully formed 🙂
