Ca-K part disc 6th August 2024

17 segment mosaic - but no stitcher would allow me to add the top three segments. Seeing poor - 1000 frames in each segment, stacked at 1%.

Lacking the top section I mirrored the shape in the bottom....

Used Sharpcap's Solar Mosaic tool - usually have success with Ha, but not Ca-K nor WL.

Nice crisp detail. Maybe try MS-ICE (image composite editor). Not officially supported any, but the installation files can still be found online.

Thanks - I used ms-ICE, Affinity Photo and my daughter tried her PS - all failed to bring in the top 3 segments (first in the run), after numerous attempts. I normally don't preprocess preferring to do the full disc, but I did on one attempt to see if more detail in the 'quiet' areas would help.  Have the same issue in WL.
