NGC 6946 (Firework galaxy) with its neighbour NGC 6939 (open cluster) - 2024.07.26-08.01 - LRGB

Altair WAVE 102EDT APO Triplet, 0.8x reducer (F/5.6), Optolong 2" LRGB, ASI 2600MM-Pro @ Celestron CGX;
Almost 7.5h of LRGB integration: 1023 x 15s L Bin1, 127 x 30s R Bin2, 128 x 30s G Bin2, 128 x 30s B Bin2; Gain 101, Offset 50, -10°C;
NINA, PixInsight, Affinity Photo;
Liverpool, Bortle 9(+).

This is my first LRGB image, I suppose I should work on the saturation of the galaxy, but I prefer to pull it up rather than drag it out. I expect a portion of Ha photons, so this isn't the final word yet.

If this is your first Lrgb image, I can only imagine what you’ll be producing in a few months! 
 

Really lovely work, from Bortle 9 too!!
