The SHO palette, combining SHO data, brings out the nebula's vibrant colors and highlights the contrast between the various gas clouds.

Challenges:

  • Balancing the signal-to-noise ratio given the varying brightness across the nebula
  • Achieving fine detail while trying to not over-process, particularly in the dense Ha regions
