These both need plenty more subs, but I thought I'd put them up as a preview for you.

Markarians Chain, about 1 hour of exposure in 2 minute and 5 minute unguided subs. Taken with the WO Megrez 80IIFD and the (modified) Canon EOS 300d at 800 ISO, and Astronimik CLS clip filter, piggybacked on the LX200. Stacked with DSS and post processed in photoshop.

M101 about 1/2 hour of exposure in 2 minute unguided subs. Taken with the WO Megrez 80IIFD and the (modified) Canon EOS 300d at 800 ISO, and Astronimik CLS clip filter, piggybacked on the LX200. Stacked with DSS and post processed in photoshop.
