Could you please write something about the stuff you used (I know that they are on AstroBin) ?

Nice composition and details but I think it's stretched too much.

That’s a great image, the fine filamentary structure and background nebulosity is particularly impressive. I would agree with Vroobel that the brightest regions of the Veil are a little bit too bright, did you use the masked stretch option in Pixinsight?

I personally am not a big fan of starless images, but it certainly does help to reveal the faint structure, especially in this region of the sky.

It's not really stretched at all beyond screen transfer, i think that's mostly a symptom of being under sampled - if anything, may try and pull the stretch down.

I may try a GHS stretch but first attempt there made it even brighter.

Basic process:

  1. WBPP Integration, 2x Drizzle
  2. RGB / SHO Pixel Math Combination
  3. BlurrXterm - correction
  4. BlurrXterm - Decon
  5. STF -> Histogram Transform
  6. Slight S Curve
  7. StarXterm
  8.   - Stars were cleaned with magenta fix
  9.   - pulled down stretch on stars
  10. Noise Xterm 70 level
  11. Resampled back down to native resolution.
  12. Aligned colors a bit in Histogram
  13. Saved & Published.
