M106 Borg 77ED 4 hours and counting....

Hello,

Currently my longest ever image!!! This is 4 hours of luminance, i do have RGB but i hav`nt got a clue what to do with it!!!! I think my avatar sums up how i feel about my lack of "Photoshop" expertise!!!!

24 x 10 mins Borg 77ED ART 285. Usual guiding /image capture settings....

That's a cracker Alan. I have often taken longer than that with the DSLR and got far worse results.

Good! The outer, faint disk really IS faint and is not often as smooth looking as this.

You have done a good job here. It's a superb outcome, and it would be a shame not to add the colour data. I wish I could help, but I don't have the knowhow. Anyway, the mono still looks brilliant.

Looking nice Alan , I use Martin's primer to construct my LRGB images: http://stargazerslounge.com/imaging-tips-tricks-techniques/57834-lrgb-imaging-primer.html . If you haven't got maxim to do the RGB combine bit, you can do it with DSS and PS, PM me if you need to find out.
