The last waltz part 2. M57 mono - 20/04/09

I guess this counts as a widefield . After the tracking issues with M63, I made a quick decision and went for a quick go on M57. I don't normally go for objects that I can see easily in a scope but as it was the last session with the 110 and time was getting on, I made the exception. Have to say this was the easiest process I've ever done. All I've done is a couple of rounds of levels and curves, what's here is essentially what came out of DSS!

Anyhoo, M57. Total exposure time 77 mins (11x7 mins). Taken with the Atik 16hr with IDAS and IR cut filters in the nosepiece through the ZS110. Guided by a QHY5, ZS66 and PHD all atop an EQ6 pro. Stacked in DSS and a quick brushup in photoshop. If you look to the top and left of the Ring in the cropped version, you can just make out IC1296.
