M51 with my new self built newton

spacer.pngHi everyone, I present to you my first job with my new telescope. It is a 16" Newton, built with a carbon fiber tube and a TS conical mirror. The cameras used for this first test were a Qsi660 and a 533c.

First I took a color photo, but it seemed to me that the telescope could do more, so I added a luminance photo to give it more detail. In the end the photo had 4 hours of L and 7 of color.

I hope you enjoy it. Thank you all

Great first image! Would also love to see some pics of the scope! Any details on the build?

Hi Luiscarss, Stunning image. As David mentioned, would be very interested to know a little more about your telescope, sounds like quite a beast!

Cheers,

Rob

I think it's the scope in this thread. A real beast with probably 1.8m focal length.
