CEM70 on a Meade standard field tripod?

Looking at the mounting specs for the CEM70, it seems it's just a center 1/2" UNC bolt as well as 2xM8 threaded screws that are spaced 130mm apart. That seems to also match the Meade field tripod that came with my LX90 8" scope.

Have I overlooked anything, will the mount fit a Meade tripod without any further adapters?

Only issue I can see is the orientation of the two M8 holes would leave the scope offset between two legs when in polar home, rather than over a single leg.
