Hi there.

Here is a simple desire to share with you a cool E.E.V.A. session made last night for testing a set-up based on an afocal coupling between a MTO "100/750" and a camera SiOnyx Aurora Pro...

Short description of this set-up plus first terrestrial tests

And here a kind of feedback during this last night

Nothing exceptional, but just a simple manner to enjoy our hobby.

Best regards.

The way technology is being applied to astronomy is excellent, another branch to the hobby and that looks a very cost effective solution to NV 👌

Hi! :)

Thank you M40 for your appreciation.

This camera is a true "swiss tool" for our hobby, definitively. you can design, from that, a grab-ad-go setup quite easily.

Indeed, a good "budget" alternative to the classical NV tubed solutions.

Next coming days, i will try, if the weather allows me, to point the young Moon with this setup...

Regards.
